Welcome to Falconer

Falconer Receives NY Forward Award

The Village of Falconer is pleased to announce that it has been awarded $4.5 million through the NY Forward program, as announced by Governor Kathy Hochul on June 12, 2026.

This funding represents the culmination of a multi-year effort by the Village, community stakeholders, and project partners to identify transformative investments that will strengthen our downtown, support economic development, and enhance quality of life for residents and visitors.

“We are incredibly grateful to Governor Hochul and New York State for investing in the Village of Falconer’s future. This New York Forward award recognizes the strength, resilience, and potential of our community, and it will help us build a more vibrant downtown, support local businesses, and create new opportunities for residents and visitors alike.” – Mayor James Jaroszynski

Over the coming months, the Village will work with New York State, local stakeholders, and community members to finalize project plans and move toward implementation. Additional details regarding project selection, planning activities, public engagement opportunities, and timelines will be shared as they become available.

We would like thank everyone who contributed to this effort and helped shape the vision that led to this significant investment in Falconer’s future.
